1. Squats
For this exercise you will need a barbell with a weight that you are comfortable with. Rest the bar on your shoulders and simply crouch down then use your legs to push yourself and the weight back to the start position. Repeat this10 times per set, and do 3 sets. You will feel straight away how this exercise isolates the quadriceps!

2. Leg Curls
For this exercise you will need to use a leg curling machine. Simply put on the desired amount of weight and sit on the machine. To carry out 1 repetition, straighten out your legs which will in turn lift the weight using your quadriceps. A very good exercise for building bigger legs.
